Switches not working for Ice's helios profile
-
I updated to 4.35 U1. Then updated Ice’s profile to his 4.35-3.
Followed the instructions everything looks great. What is in the sim shows up on the helios profile on my second screen.
However the majority of switches and knobs in helios do not work. For example if I turn the knob for cockpit lighting the know in the sim doesn’t move nor does the lighting come on.
Yet all the MFD buttons work in helios.
This was working fine before U1. I had to turn mouse exclusivity off in the config file to get the cursor to move to the second screen.
I’m using the alternate launcher and a Saitek x52.
I’ll also post this on discord.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Doug

If some of the buttons are working and some aren’t then it’s almost certainly a keyfile issue.
Try going through the the keyfile guide again which I included in Post 2 here: https://www.benchmarksims.org/forum/showthread.php?41662-Ice’s-Falcon-BMS-Profile-Updated-for-BMS-4-35-U1.
By the way the latest Ice’s profile update is 4.35-5 although that won’t solve your issue.

I went back and followed the directions again and the same thing, most buttons and switches move but have no impact on the sim.
I uninstall everything and will reinstall BMS 4.35 U1, helios and the profile and try that.
Thanks

I still think that this is a keyfile issue and have replied to this on Discord to avoid duplicating everything.

This was a keyfile issue, the Saitek X52 profile already contained a “BMS - Full.key” as well as the X52 profile so when this was pasted on the end of the “BMS - Ice’s Helios Profile.key” the “BMS - Full” callbacks overwrote the “Ice’s Helios Profile” callbacks.
