Easy refueling settings only work for first time.

Easy mode = arcade. Might as well play pong.
-
I raised a bug for AAR in simple mode, as there was some weird behaviour going on (tanker kept jumping close and then further away).
yep i remember the same thing many years ago.
don’t use the easiest level, try the middle level. -
I do like the audible instructions of the easy mode. It’s reassuring

audible help from human in MP….there’s nothing finer
Stop by sometime happy to help

Hm, I’d suggest you invest the time to learn “proper” refuelling as it’ll help you master other skills like formation flying, keeping your patience & cool in hairy situations, resisting the urge to shoot a heater at friendlies close by and lots of other useful tools
There are many threads here that’ll help you get that “picture” required for a successful hookup, and while it can be a bit frustrating at first it’s incredibly rewarding once you can do it consistently, much like riding a bicycle “properly” without those pesky two extra wheels mounted at the back (I’m sure you remember that feeling when you first managed that :))
All the best,
Uwe
Sorry for replying late.
Well you wont suggest me to do realistic refueling if I tell you I’ve been flying with keyboard. 8-) Because that’s exactly what I do.
Otherwise I’d never go for easy refueling. And you are absolutely right about the formation practice we get from tanker. I flew a couple HAVCAP missions in campaign and stayed with tanker for over an hour. Did a lot of formation flying (Well close enough :D) It was fun. I even planned to refuel if that idiot F-18 could finish. But that guy also kept refueling for over an hour, his wingman ran out and ejected while I decided to RTB after doing my time with 2000 pounds left. -

Ejoy BMS the way you want but be advised that our goal is to offer a realistic approach of F-16 flight experience…
So don’t expect much support on “acardish” setings.Maybe one day you’ll have access to a HOTAS and start the “real” stuff…
Cheers

Doesn’t really have to start with a HOTAS, but a good-enough joystick with some extra axis for throttle control might do the trick as well. Maybe you can pick up one on ebay used / cheaply, the pots might need cleaning but it’ll be miles beyond anything a keyboard-only setup will have to offer you
Admirations for getting through BMS missions on a keyboard though, incredible and a great sign of your determination!
All the best,
Uwe

Yea obviously a joy stick will be miles better, I’ll get my hands on that sooner or later but boy…. BMS is one hell of a real thing without that too. The planning, the avionics, the thrill of flight and weapons delivery, its a great a sim. Lost my last log book due to a crash. Started new campaign and on second mission I obliterated a whole AD battalion alone winning a Distinguish Air Medal. Its fun.

Oh I will.
