Saitek X52 Pro radar cursor problem.
-
Hello guys,
Best greetings from Poland and 32nd Tactical Air Base.
I just bought a Saitek X52 Pro and I have a question. How can I configure my ministick on throttle to use as radar cursor? I’m using a profile for X52 Pro witch is included in docs folder in BMS. Could someone give me a step by step instruction how can I do this?
In game when I’m moving a ministick sensor doesn’t move , I only moving a mouse coursor in cokpit.
Saitek profile I pasted to user/config folder.
Sowatware to Saitek installed from official website.
In Saitek software , I added a Saitek profile. What I should to do next?
Thank you in advance.

If you want to use the ministick as analog axes you have to give up one of your other axes by reordering your axis in the registry.
Other than that you can set up the ministick as bands in the Logitech software.
I personally used always the first solution as analog stick gives better controlGesendet von meinem SM-G930F mit Tapatalk

Search the forum for Saitek X52 radar cursor ministick and it should be pretty easy to find, theres at least 2 or 3 threads explaining how.

If you activate the microstick axes, you’ll lose twist rudder or the slider (as axis, you can still use the slider for zones).
-
Use the Logitech or Saitek profile maker.
Go to the section concerning the ministick and swap it from Axis to buttons. then just assign each TMS Callback to the desired direction. I have mine so when the stick is released and centers, the lock goes on to soft lock the target its over. Makes life quick for scanning a lot of inbound.
Hi Blue, long time

Unless you have rudder pedals, opt to lose the slider. You should still be able to use it with bands (i.e. DF/MRM switch).

I am using profile for X52Pro for years now(originaly posted by Flounder if I can remeber, some 6 years ago) and it works perfect regarding ministick radar cursor ,profiles are divided in colours RED for AA,PURPLE for NAV and AG and BLUE for DOGFIGHT mode!
If you want send me PM and I will share it… -
If you haven’t tried the “Flounder” profile, I recommend it.

@glajtman My “Falconeer” profile for X52 Pro (logitech or saitek) shows instructions on how to use the X52 profiler software along with an included profile file for using the mini-stick as ‘bands’ to control the RADAR cursor.
You don’t need to use my full profile, but you could dissect it and grab the bits from any of the included keyfiles for RADAR cursor and copy them over your existing keyfile (mine are set to use arrow keys, up/down/left/right) - and set the profiler to use the included profile with mini-stick bands:
forum.falcon-bms.com/…/semlerpdx-s-x52-pro-falconeer-hotas-profile-for-bms-4-35
(here’s the bit from the bms keyfile)
SimCursorUp -1 0 0xC8 0 0 0 1 "Mini-Stick: RDR CURSOR Up - (Arrow Up)" SimCursorRight -1 0 0xCD 0 0 0 1 "Mini-Stick: RDR CURSOR Right - (Arrow Right)" SimCursorDown -1 0 0xD0 0 0 0 1 "Mini-Stick: RDR CURSOR Down - (Arrow Down)" SimCursorLeft -1 0 0xCB 0 0 0 1 "Mini-Stick: RDR CURSOR Left - (Arrow Left)"
(and here’s the .pr0 file for X52 profiler software)

*this profile file also includes bands on the throttle slider, you’d want to remove that for this example -
