BMS crashed after mapped keyfile
-
Here’s my crashlog. No idea what’s going on here, I don’t even have D drive on my PC?
================================== CRASHLOG ===================================== Falcon BMS.exe caused an EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION in: 000000000469FB8C Falcon BMS.exe, AirframeClass::EngineModel()+1068 byte(s), D:\WIP\BMS\SVN\Code-4.35\SIM\Airframe\Engine.cpp, line 453
That’s just a hint for the dev team – it’s the filename and line number in the source code, where the crash happened.
“Airframe\Engine.cpp” doesn’t sound like something that would be keyfile related … but I don’t have the source so I don’t know.

A quick test to help to narrow this down …
- switch to another (stock) keyfile and verify you can start and enter 3D ok.
- switch back to the desired keyfile and verify it crashes again.

[…]Seems unrelated to key file. Can you reproduce and do you have a .dmp file (see item 1 here: https://www.benchmarksims.org/forum/showthread.php?42473-Enabling-dump-files-at-all-times-MS-Application-Verifier-and-Frozen-dump-files)

Hey, i installed BMS 4.35.2. It worked fine. Then i would config my Panels in the ui. After that ,when i start a mission, BMS crashed to the desktop, in the moment to spawn in.
Anyone have a solution for me?Do you have the issue with the original keyfile? And can you reproduce the issue and do you have a .dmp file (see https://www.benchmarksims.org/forum/showthread.php?42473-Enabling-dump-files-at-all-times-MS-Application-Verifier-and-Frozen-dump-files)??)

Hey, i changed the keyfile, then it works. But i need a solution, i have install 9 USB boards for my pit. Is the problem by the keyfile or too much usb boards? Yes dumpfile is ready.

That’s not a dump file, we need the .dmp file (zip it and put it on gdrive or alike). If BMS doesnt create one, follow the link I posted above. Could you also share the keyfile that gives the issues?

With more than 8 devices have you adjusted the default 256 for shift up. As the default is 8 devices × 32 buttons = 256

I increase it to 512 in the config.

OK, 512 doesn’t work.

As you wrote you don’t have a crash with a default key file something corrupted your key file while adding your additional USB devices.
I would start adding/mapping the USB devices one by one.
If you are familiar with the key file syntax you can open it with any text editor to find where it might got corruptedGesendet von meinem SM-G930F mit Tapatalk
