@weepop Make sure that the "Launchers> button in the Alternative Launcher main screen is not checked. If checked, it will launch without your overrides enabled.

Thanks mj3437 you made me realise how I can keep my own key file.
Launch with it ticked and then it does not overwrite my weepop 4.35 Full.key with the BMS.Full file.
This means I am only using AL to overcome my original problem as stated in first post.
Now I only have to sort out why RTT not working…any ideas ???
-
@weepop please specify/elaborate RTT not working? Bit more information on the issue you are facing would be helpfull to support

But can’t you just take a shot at the problem Oak?

OK the problem at first was RTT MDF gauges did not appear in correct positions on my Helios touch screen.
Sorted that , I had somehow lost my settings in RTT client .ini
Took a while using trial and error , surely there must be an easier way to edit positions of gauges.
Trouble is they are now in right positions but remain blank when I launch BMS.Ideas ???

@weepop with the latest Helios RTT is fully integrated. You have YET viewports that you can drag around and Helios would automatically write the position to the ini file
Second if the remain blank have you checked that RTT is enabled in your Falcon BMS.cfg file -
Thanks oakdesign that was the problem, it was not enabled in the cfg file.
Don`t know why as it used to work.
Do updates alter the cfg file ?
Also I see Helios as had RTT since release 1.6.3604 .
I found the movable images but could not quite work out how to use them .

weepopNot every update touches the cfg file but I had been ranting a bit about that because U2 replaced the cfg instead of just applying changes. U3 did the the same with the BMS - Full.key file
In terms of RTT integration into Helios. With the very latest Helios 1.651000 the integrated Helios Extraction has been reworked as well to support up to 100FPS and user have reported to see no perfomance difference against RTT usage anymore. But that may vary fom system to system

Yes, in my case (at the upper end of the spectrum GPU/CPU wise) I saw 0 difference between using RTT to export the MFDs versus using Helios native export. Be good to see how a borderline system handles it, but i’m quite pleased to only have one program for everything now… and Helios is up to version 1.6.5101.0000 as of a couple days ago!

Thank you oakdesign, that video was perfect and I have now updated all my profiles.
