HSD doesn't display AB's properly
-
When I make a TE that departs one AB and lands at a different AB, the HSD shows the route of flight as taking off and landing at same AB. However, sometimes it will show correctly, but most of the time when making a new TE, it won’t. Is there something I’m unaware of when trying to make the HSD display properly? Thanks

I am unable to reproduce this. The HSD steer points show up correctly on my 4.36 install. Could you provide a more detailed case so we can try to reproduce it?
Did you happen to use naval ac departing from carrier? There is a known bug similar to this.

Well I just made a couple of more TE’s and they route correctly, so I call it a ‘no issue’. But just so you don’t think I’m out of it, I have seen it many times before. Thanks TeeSquare for your concern, Trippp

I have seen this as well and as was said this was a 4.35 behavior. Haven’t done enough TEs in 4.36 yet to have seen it. For me, the route would occasionally show the last STPT as the original home plate but then as I flew it and changed from the penultimate STPT to the last one it would then suddenly jump to the correct landing point. I could never seem to recreate at will but it definitely happened on several occasions.
I’ll keep an eye out and see if I can repro it as well.

Can you make sure that you always clear your old target assignments on your data cartridge before takeoff?
Sometimes it happens when you had assigned a target to an existing waypoint. If you don’t clear those targets before the next flight, you will still find a wrong waypoint on your HSD.Maybe your issue is something similar.
