Need advice to choose between Thrustmaster TCWS x CH pro Throttle
-
I’m going to TCWS at the moment and need to know
that 4 and 5 buttons are a 3 way switch? or just a button up and a button down?or is just pushbutton up and a pushbutton down?
I already use a CH fighterstick

@Arsenius I have both throttles. Buttons 4 and 5 are just buttons. I have it mapped to antenna up and down. I think the TWCS is better but the CH feels sturdier. My CH throttle pot is spiking and is less accurate than the TWCS which is a hall sensor I believe.

@Arsenius 4 and 5 buttons is basically a two way push switch. When you release pressure it returns to the middle position. I use it for the airbrake. I have mapped all the f16 tqs functions on the TWCS plus the slap switch and still have a couple of spares.

TWCS, I have the fighterstick with TWCS sold the CH throttle. The TWCS has a better feel and longer slide. The CH Throttle is good though will last much longer than the TWCS.

@Arsenius
HelloCH does not follow its drivers for a long time. And these make it very difficult (W8.1 --> W10) or impossible (W10 --> W11) to install a new operating system over the old one.
For my part, simply because of its drivers and the lack of follow-up, I strongly advise against investing in a CH product, regardless of the quality of the controllers themselves.
Best regards
