BMS 4.36 U3
Windows 10
BMS server network details:
Download bandwidth: 41 Mbps
Uploadbandwidth: 19 MbpsHi Dear BMS Team,
I tried a multiplayer session with Performance monitor active on main key parameter to understand how much resources the multi needs.
We were in 6 pilots in a Korea Campaign mission (second day) including me acting both as server (BMS + IVC) and as Pilot.
One of the pilot had some lag issue only during taxy, a part of this no connection issues or problem during the flight.
I would like to understand if the lag was caused by the Server or maybe for a specific pilot local connection issues. In attach the server performance monitor outcomes during the multi session. From this it is not seem a Server problem because the CPU and network as the memory seems around 20% but maybe i am wrong to read correctly it and so asking for help.
Thanks for your help.

I cannot attach the zip file …

The lag must be a specific driver’s problem. What network speed did he put in his connection?
Is the server forcing all pilots to use the same server bandwidth? or each pilot can put theirs at their discretion.
Remember that in the campaign with battalions fighting, entire squadrons moving in the air, all this hustle and bustle consumes a lot of bandwidth, this information has to be sent to each connected pilot and for each connected pilot the consumption increases exponentially.
In our wing, under the conditions that we exploit the FALCON, if a pilot presents lag or his aircraft begins to make sudden turns and movements, it is a matter of packet loss and it is a connection problem for the pilot himself.

Hi Viper 0, first of all thanks for your feedback. I will ask for the client specific bandwidth. Regarding the question around the use of same server bandwidth, how i can check this? I didn’ t modify the default value on server cfg anyway.
Many thanks!

@gundam By default the simulator allows clients to connect with different bandwidths, so it’s fine as they are.
What we recommend is that you give 80% of the speed of the available bandwidth that the server has in your connection (as explained in the BMS-User-Manual 6.3 COMMS / Phone book page 74).
If any pilot is presenting stability problems then we recommend that he lower the upload and download bandwidth of his connection in the simulator.
In the campaign, the battalions, brigades and packages are in motion as in a battlefield, this increases the use of bandwidth since all this information is transmitted not only to the pilot involved in the contact of his bubbles but also to all the others. human pilots of the network that also their bubbles are in contact, so it must be taken into account that large amounts of information will be sent both ways.
GREETINGS.

If any
Thanks Viper 0. I will do as suggested.
