I can't install my BMS 4.36
-
@RKD sorry if I made it sound easy … you’ll probably need to change all 4 of these environment variables – then reboot.
(btw this is on Start / Run / Sysdm.cpl / Advanced tab / Environment Variables button)
-
The temp package is 4G big…
You should free up souscrit on your C drive anyway because windows might just stop working if you have a full C drive…
-
@airtex2019 I just do it like you said, but it still doesn’t work ! Maybe i use a mobile driver.
-
@MaxWaldorf Thanks for you help.But i can’t clean anything of my C driver. So how can i install BMS?
-
@RKD agree with Max, at some point below ~2GB free space, Windows won’t be able to download and unpack updates!
try Start / Run / CleanMgr.exe
run it twice … once as normal user, second time as admin (or click the “cleanup system files” button)
you might be surprised at ~3GB of leftover “Windows Update” gunk
-
@RKD other tips to free up a few GB on system drive… only do these things if they make sense to you (ie. “you know what you’re doing” and agree you don’t need these things. in no particular order, here’s what I’d do:
- turn off hibernation, if it’s on
from elevated (admin) cmd prompt:
powercfg -h off
and reboot- turn off system-restore
this is also on Sysdm.cpl applet, same place as env vars, oddly enough…
- turn off pagefile (really not needed in this decade, esp. if you have 32GB or more of ram)
this too is on sysdm.cpl
-
@airtex2019 Ok i will try it .Thanks
-
@airtex2019 Thank for your help. I successfully install BMS 4.36
-
@airtex2019 I have a new problem. I can see this one when i touch lauch
-

-
-
@RKD what version of Windows is this?
-
@airtex2019 Windows 10 in 32-bits
-
@airtex2019 how can i do
-
@RKD You need to have Falcon 4.0 installed on your system to be able to install BMS due to licensing requirements. F4 is cheap, if you don’t already have it’s buy it, then install it, no need to run the game. Then you can install BMS.
-
@RKD BMS is 64-bit only, sorry.
-
@airtex2019 emm,but i play bms 4.36 just now!
-
@RKD And my next steps are setting my yoke
