Alternate launcher and x52 instructions question
-
I am setting up my x52 per the instructions in the pdf for the HOTAS setups. The problem is I keep reading here on the forums that the Alternate Launcher overwrites any changes I make with the profiles in the game UI. So does that mean that the instructions in the PDF are irrelevant now, and I should just go in and setup my key bindings manually with the alternate launcher? I don’t see anyway to change the alternate launcher profile from Keyboard Full to any other profiles without doing it manually. I am really confused about this. Thanks for the help.

@Spcialist40k haven’t looked but I’m pretty sure some pdf content was written before Alt Launcher was integrated as the main launcher (and main HOTAS configuration interface)
the in-game UI has always sucked… doesn’t do pinky-shift or chorded keys etc.
options are either (a) start with a stock key file for X52 and hand-manage any changes… or (b) use Alt Launcher to setup bindings and manage everything.
I think (b) will auto-recognize your X52 and load good defaults.

@airtex2019 Great! Thanks. I like the AL setup much better that the classic UI anyway. Thanks again.
