Solved ACMI files size limited (4.37)
-
Good evening gents,
No logs, just one pic of the ACMI folder.
My ACMI records are always split in several files. Using Tacview, I can see lenght is variable, from 29secs to 3mins.
Of course I read documentation, the ACMI box in the launcher is unchecked (grey), and the switch in 3D is set from off to on before take-off (not set to the upper position for 30secs recording after trigger detent).
I recorded also in “old” mode and checked with the native ACMI viewer, same problem.
My last attempt was to set in bmsconfig the recording time from 30secs to 7200secs, not working either.
Did anyone already meet (and solve) something like this ?
Thank you guys for your help ! -
My bad…
My statement was on switch position… It is fixed in U1
Correct position for correct label… -
I was wondering about this, too. I have seen the same “splitting” of the ACMI files.

Try “event mark”. For me works!

Well, thanks guys for answering, I feel less alone as I’m not the only one who encountered this issue…
I tried the event mark position after setting recording time, but still same unfortunatly.
Still brainstorming on other potential solutions, will keep you aware if something finally (and definitly) works ! -
@Peyo40 marking is wrong, so we’ll change it in U1
-
@MaxWaldorf thank you very much

@MaxWaldorf sure the panel is wrong? I’d say the switch positions are not assigned to the correct callback.
I only verified with AVTR panel from hispapanel. So you still might be right

@Peyo40 if in doubt, you can set this cfg which renders a glaring red warning msg that recording is active.
set g_bACMIRecordMsgOff 0

@airtex2019 yep, thanks, that’s the next test scheduled for tonight.
