Is it possible to use opencomposite with BMS?
-
As the title says. I have a hate relationship with steamVR I don’t even have it installed also no steam launcher.
I use all openVR games via opencomposite on oculus q2. Is it possible to run BMS also via opencomposite bypassing steamVR? (old oculus branch or openxr branch)
I heard mixed opinions but did someone try it actually? Can someone confirm if it works or not.
Thanks -
@Rapier-0 no, it’s not possible right now. Must be SteamVR. Several have tried, including me, I’ve not seen any successful reports.

@rubbra wow such a fast answer!
Thanks. It’s a pity. Also strange that it does not work.

@Rapier-0 it is, but actually once you’ve explored the various options available to you in BMS, you’ll be able to get really excellent performance.

I would like developers to reconsidered given support to this, OpenVR is having problems with Varjo Aero.
