FoxVox Free voice control software for BMS

@hoover I’ll give your suggestion some thought…a personal “companion” library add-on…hmmmm. In the meantime I can certainly add in your commands with the default if you want.
-
Thanks, foxster, much appreciated.
Right now I have these commands configured to control head tracking (using OpenTrack):
Track / tracking reset / center -> F7
Track / tracking stop / start / toggle -> F9
All the best,
Uwe

@hoover Got them added to the default library. Don’t know why I never had them there Thanks!
-
The default library file has been updated to the latest release of BMS v4.37.2. You can download it here: https://foxster.itch.io/foxvox-libraries
-
thanks foxster!
Would it be possible to de-couple the PTT settings (buttons / sound played during activation / deactivation) from the library?
It looks like when I load up your new library for 37.2 I have to re-assign both the button combo and the sound files played for activation / de-activation. No biggie, just a paper cut that would be nice to get rid of
All the best,
Uwe

@hoover Way ahead of you. I’m working on a fix to make it easy to reapply old settings in the future.
-
Very cool mate! Thanks for your work & looking forward to testing the results

Hey guys, Im using this awesome FoxVox know for a few months and it gives so much immersion.
The only thing I have is that I can only use the UHF Button (Button 21) for PPT on my Thrustmaster cougar throttle. When I try to use the VHF Button (Button 20)as PTT too then both buttons dont work. The symbole gets green but nothing is progressed. When Im deleting the VHF Button again and only have the UHF Button as PPT it works fine again.
Any ideas about this? -
@jojojung Make sure you’re using the latest version 1.7.7. Then when you define the PTT, enable the ‘Any Key’ option. By default the PTT will require all keys defined to be pressed together in combination unless you choose the ‘Any Key’ option…this will make them ‘either or’ rather than a combination:
-
@foxster
Roger, thanks a lot! I dont have this option in my 1.7.6.
Do I have to deinstall and reinstall with 1.7.7. or is there an update functionality? -
@jojojung A newer version will update an old one. Just install and good to go.
-
@foxster thanks a lot, worked very Well
-
@foxster
Is the Depature Airborne call correct? ATC 5x and then 1
But what about ATC 8x and 1
Thats report 1 ground abort, isnt it? -
@jojojung For ease of use, I combined a couple of the common commands (aborts, airborne) into single commands so they can more easily be called and you’re covered for both. You can split them out into different commands if you’d like, but in testing they worked fine by just executing both options, making it simpler. I don’t use abort very often in actuality though, so if you find there’s a problem with doing both, let us all know!

Hi all, version 1.8 is now out. The initial post in the thread highlights the changes and provides a link to the full changelog. I hope you like it!
@hoover said in FoxVox Free voice control software for BMS:

I’ve added the ability to import (and customize) settings from another library file. This should help to address this issue.
