ILS Volume
-
@devs: maybe a stupid question: is it possible to get the On/Off option back in the ILS switch configuration? in the Audio1 panel? Having the ability to configure only the ILS volume seems to create some issues with my pot/switch configuration…
Many thanks

@Gancio Should be Audio2 panel I think. Could you be more precise what switch issues you are having?

Back in the before times when you assigned ILS volume to an axis the first off-on transition was still a button function. The axis wouldn’t change the value until the “on” command was received. Looking at the callback list those off-on buttons for axes have been removed.
Is it possible to logically combine the switch and potentiometer using vJoy or whatever else you use so that you get an input that BMS can use simply by the axis input. I don’t exactly what issues you mean.

Many thanks everybody for answers.
@Frederf
the conflict arises because the On-Off callbacks have effectively disappeared. The old configuration used the switch with an alphanumeric combination that I reconfigured in the new system, which however only provides ILS volume up and volume down. Having subsequently also configured the potentiometer in the axis item on the same command, this generates conflicts. Naturally the solution is to configure only the axis and exclude the switch., but the click that turns the ILS bars on and off from my physical instrument has a whole other charm…. -
With some software wizardry can you have the button go from 0-5% and the knob axis from 5-100%? That way you still have the detention position and it all works seamlessly? If you’ve got custom knobs I assume you’re running some kind of software to support it. Then one just has to find what the axis threshold is to go from off to minimum volume and line that up with the axis.

@Frederf
Many thanks Frederf, using plane Pokeys, no F4toPokeys. I will give a try. Many thanks
