Alt Launcher vs Target Software HOTAS Warthog

Simply put, I want to create curves for the axis on my TM Warthog HOTAS. The only way I have found to do this is with the Target Software. I go in and setup my curves and then save it to a profile. When I run the script it overrides all my programming in the BMS Alt Launcher that I used to program all the hats and buttons. Any advise would be appreciated.

Question: Why would you want curves for your axis / axes, and specifically which ones?
Getting rid of TARGET is a good thing and really removes a lot of complexity even though it may mean a bit of work at first. DX-only / AL is the way to go IMHO.

@hoover I only want to set a curve for the radar cursor slew switch on the throttle. I installed the modded one already but it is just too fast and hard to control. I do not want to use Target but it’s the only way I see to set a curve for one switch. I use AL for everything.

BMS has some advanced config to apply curves to axes. Here’s a snip from my cfg… you can read more in the docs.
+1 recommend to avoid TM Target software.

Glad to hear you found a solution, MailMan. I also use those Falcon BMS.cfg lines that airtex mentioned, and it’s working great

I’m not sure where I found these settings but they work for me too. My rudder controls were a nightmare until I added a couple lines.
// make the radar cursor thumbstick a little more manageable: set g_nAxisExp_AXIS_CURSOR_Y 60 // Axis exponential curve.
