Editing the registry to get X52 pro mouse cursor to be axes
-
Hi everyone,
Wonder if there is whether anyone who can show me step by step on how to edit the registry to get the X52pro throttle mouse cursor to become x and y axis to move the radar cursor? I do not want to use the profiler to set up bands for mouse cursor. Instead I want to just map the x52 pro throttle using dx only.
I have searched the forum and found that it is possible. The registry to be edited is what is copied below.
I know how to get to the registry editor through regedit and go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\MediaProperties\PrivateProperties\Joystick\OEM\VID_06A3&PID_0762\
What do I do after this? I read that I need to copy what I want to edit to a notepad and name the notepad with .reg ending. And when I double click the file with .reg ending, the registry will be update. Well it does not seem to happen. What name should I give to the notepad with .reg ending? Where do I save it? How to change or edit the registry?
Can anyone help? Wanting to try using the x52 pro throttle. All axes are working except for having an axes for the radar cursor.
Igorry

Here you go. This removes the twist stick rudder and moves those axises to the ministick.
No manual regex editing needed,

Thank you! Almost wanting to open up the x52 pro and take out the mouse cursor and put in a thumbstick instead. I will give it a try!

Use UCR (Universal Control Remapper) un github repository AND dont lost any axis.
