There is an error in the Georgia
Strings.txt
file that prevents it from generating the EZBoards kneeboard images. There are spaces missing in lines 99 and 173.
Replace with
99:
107 Package Elements:
173:
186 x

To be clear, are you saying to replace what is currently on line 99 with the line 107 info. you list? And the same with line 173/186?
-
Yes, it is a little confusing; there’s the physical file line number (99, 173), and the item number (107/187)
-
I’m still confused. Have tried multiple combinations of things, ezboards still doesn’t work with Georgia. Any chance you can copy/paste these sections of your file?

If I have time, I’ll push an update

Ah OK. So did you add “Georgia” to the EZBoards
Theatres.txt
file?As “Georgia” doesn’t have its own Objects folder it needs to point to the base “Korea KTO” one, like this:
"Georgia",\Data\TerrData\Objects\KoreaObj
So when you run EZBoards the DDS is created in the base KTO Objects folder and loaded into WDP. Some other theatres have their own Objects folders (which WDP knows about for updating the kneeboards).
Hope this fixes it for you. I’ve tried to make it as clear as possible.
-
Yes I did add that line to the EZBoards theater.txt file. EZBoards still doesn’t work with Georgia.
Never mind though, I’ll just use WDP instead when I run Georgia. Thanks for your help.

If you run
EZBOARDS.BAT
on its own, what is the error?line 99 should be:
i.e.
107[TAB]Package[SPACE]Elements:[SPACE]line 173:
186[TAB][SPACE]x[SPACE] -
I had the strings.txt file sections listed as you show them. Just tried it again, same result.
EZBoards error message:
“Unhandled exception. System.Collections.Generic.KeyNotFoundException: The given key ‘Package Elements: x = Primary Flight’ was not present in the dictionary.” -

@CriticalMass
That did the trick, many thanks! I did a file comparison in WinMerge between my file and this one, and the spacing between the words appears to be the problem in my file.
Your file has more spacing than mine. -
@MnMailman good to hear.

Fixed with new update 3.1

Right, did you add the Georgia line to the Theatres.txt file in the EZBoards folder? As Georgia doesn’t have it’s own Objects folder, you should point it at the Koreo KTO one. I’m AFK, but it should look something like:
`“Georgia”,

Yes I added that line. No problem though, everything is working as intended now.
