F-16 OFP M 7.2+ Upgrade
-
USAF is upgrading 600 of their Vipers under OFP M 7.2+ program…
i mean look at those gorgeous Vipers…
HAVE GLASS V made viper much Sexier than Ever before🥹
will we ever get to see these on future versions of BMS?
FCR: Apg-68 is being Replaced By amazing AESA APG-83 SABR. (afaik it can be implemented using Editor…)
RWR: ALR-56M IS BEING REPLACED BY ALR-69(V)(already implemented in bms by fantastic Dev Team!)
EWS: ALQ-213 is being Replaced by ALQ-257
The ALQ-257 IVEWS is a completely internal electronic warfare suite, incorporating all Electronic Warfare functionality, including jamming of current and future threats. This means that it incorporates all functions previously performed by the ECM pods, freeing the F-16’s centerline station from the ALQ-131 and ALQ-184 pods! and allowing it to be used for the 300 gal external fuel tank or other payloads…
RAM Painting: the new HAVE GLASS V Painting decreased the RCS OF F-16 to around 1.5m2!
CPD implementation into Cockpit Required…
i mean it doesn’t look impossible.
wish we can see these advanced Vipers in BMS.

Yes, the HAVE GLASS paint scheme will be available on some of the Vipers in the near future. Stay tuned.
Most units have a fair amount of HG jets already…
What would be nice is a check box to apply this paint to any Viper that has it (or will), but right now it is an additional skin… and it won’t lower the RCS any.
Regarding SABR, there are quite a few videos showing it (or radars like it) how fast it can acquire and track targets, but BMS isn’t going to hack this in. There is some other quite exciting work being done with the radar, but I’ll leave it at that for now.
