Solved Original Falcon4 License Error
-
Hi guys!
I just bought a new ssd and copy my steam folder to it. Now you know falcon4.0 directory also chanced and so bms comes with an error “you need licensed copy of Falcon4.0…”. I tried to reinstall the BMS but it still not working. In short, my falcon4 (steam) and BMS folder are at disk D (windows is in disk C). How can I solve this porblem? -
Guys…
This is not legit.
You need to have an active steam installation through steam or gog…Don’t start hacking the registry as this is very very illegal based on the agreement you accept when you purchase on steam…

@Ogi135 idk but this seems like more of a Steam support question. pretty sure one does not simply copy their Steam directory from one drive to another… you probably (?) need to uninstall / reinstall F4 from Steam

Maybe that or you could try regedit and make path changes through the program. Not sure it’s safe for Steam though.

Try editing your base directory here (BaseDir)
