Windows 7 not supported…

BMS Manual needs to be changed to reflect this. Section 2.1.3 states that 7 is compatible.

My 2 cents.
Got Win7 with GTX1070, driver version 460.89 . Falcon BMS 4.37 U3 works fine on my side.
I`m not sure how to fix your problem.
Maybe try this: VulkanRT-1.3.268.0-Installer -
let me understand clearly
you dont support windows 7 as a team like microsoft stopped its support or BMS from now on requires WIN 10 and above?
its not big deal if it requires win 10 but be more specific pls

api-ms-win-eventing-classicprovider-l1-1-0.dll
Hello, have you placed the DLL in the correct architecture windows folder? This type of error usually comes up when you put 32bit DLL files in windows\system32 directory or you put 64bit files in sysWOW64 folder. I would suggest you to download dependency walker software for 32 and 64bit files and scan the directories of system32 and sysWOW64. If you find any red file in the scan results, means that you need to replace this file with the correct architecture file. For example if scan find a file in system32 folder and mark it, you will have to find the 64bit version of this DLL and replace it in the system32 folder.

those “api-ms-win-some-long-name-blah-blah.dll” files are not real DLL files, they’re virtual “API-set” names
on older OS’s maybe they were real physical files, that contained forwarding-shims to the actual OS implementation DLL… but getting the right one (and all its siblings and dependents) would presumably be very tightly coupled to the exact build number of the OS – this is not the way.
I think U3 brought some XInput dependencies that folks had to manually install onto Win7…
We can’t support Win7 if MS doesn’t. But community members are free to try and help one another. Folks saw some success, in these threads:
