Reducing to 30000 tris should be very possible, the F-22 has many flat surfaces but I see in the pictures that your model is rounder than it should be. The cockpit canopy appears more bubble tear-drop shaped like the F-16 than the real thing.

Importing these skins takes longer than 20 min. I wonder If I do them individually will it move faster?

Everything is much better. Great job new skins more cockpit functions its great. Just one thing theres no pilot in the jet lol at least from the external view. Unmanned Raptors= Terrifying to THE enemy

I have a question here (newbie question, maybe) but very important…Is it possible to create an “One click installer” for the F22 3dmodels I made available for download.?
There are people that do not know how to use LOD-EDITOR, and need it. I do not know if it is already possible, and I do not know how to make the "one click installer either.

As far as I know, there is no BMS compatible plug-in for F4Patch that allows LOD integration. The only solution to a one-click would be an F4Patch module to replace the existing KoreaObj files as required, though adding the dds textures to the KoreaObj folder is straightforward.
Hopefully a plugin is developed for this process, which will then reduce the download size and provide compatibility with other LOD mods and future BMS versions.

If you’re using the stock obj file you could use rtpatch to do it for you.

Hello all. I have been working this last days in the weapons bay animations, and think and try to find a solution how to make them work better. I found one solution, but it will require changesusing “f4 browse” software. There is the need for changes in the hardpoints in the f22.
I will explain: There is only 5 weapon bays “F4-dofs” available for making the animations (AFAIK), 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, the WB0 is for the “gun”, and 1234 are for the missiles, and bombs. the problem is that the WB are controled by “what missile you will choose”. and in the “sms” page the missiles are distributed like this:
AIM9 in the harpoint 1 and 8 generally. The aim 120 in the harpoints 23456 generally. WHEN you choose the missiles 1,2,3,and 4 the WB open, but when you choose the missiles that the Hardpoints numbers are greater than 4, the WB do not open. I decided to change in my installation using “F4 Browse” the “harpoints” in the F22. and the result was almost the expected, except the “GBU” bombs that when you choose for carry them, there is no space for the “aim120”. I am keeping myself trying to find a better solution for that.

Around 60000 (60 thousand). I could not reduce it to a number less that this.
Yes I wil work in the lod-2 the next days ahead, and I will try to reduce the model for a number around 30000 but not now, It will be in the next year ( I hope).
I really want it in the database, but it will take a long time, if its necessary, I draw another model, only the airframe.
You will notice that I took out the pilot, the missiles, and something more I can’t remember now. I did not like the result. I prefer the high Poly model, but the medium poly is ok.

hows the pilot coming buddy. And one more thing I’m not sure how many people fly with TIR vector but. The Issue with the seat remains unless I turn off vector. With Vector on I cannot look behind or to the side of my aircraft without the seat getting in the way. I will try to make a video to show you what it is im seeing with I turn around. However this problem doesn’t occur when I disable vector and fly the raptor. Vector meaning I can move my head on the Y a axis as well as the X complete movement not just left right up and down. Other than that LOVE IT keep it up nothing but great things from you. I know you said you don’t use TIR so I understand if its a hard thing to fix for you

Please make the video, so I will see what is going on. Its true, I do not have TIR for now, I will buy one, when I have $$$time$$$ available, (if you understand that).

MetalheadI was almost forgetting: The pilot. It is almost done. The pilot is not as good as possible .It is the same with some changes in the helmet. But as it will be seen from a certain distance, ther is no need for a H-poly model. Everyone knows that it’s much “big” in polygon count.

You will not believe I f I say to you that, the animations for that, is the same as open the refuel doors, and there is the animations for the wepons bays together.

Sorry Metal I will try to get video as soon as possible but I have got pictures for you. These shots are taken directly from the pit these shots are from the the TiR With Vector Settings.
The first and second shots are just looking out of the pit to the left and right you can see the seat blocking the wings. Now If I move my head to the left or right just sliding my head on the X axis left or right and then turning my head You can then make out some of the wing with the seat and other still blocking the view. This is shown in numbers 3 and 4. The last picture is If I were to look directly behind my plane. Instead of seeing the tailfins and the gap between them you see the seat blocking the entire screen. I will post shortly what happens with TiR without Vector. -

Scraped, I am uplading the new version now with updates and pilot and lod2, well, except the change you are waiting for.
But I promisse that I will fix it soon.I believe I need to move the model a little bit backward. It’s simple to do, BUT I did not make it yet, Wait a little bit more, please.
