Axis Modifier

I understand you can use a modifier button for buttons. But is there any way you can assign a modifier to an axis. I’m trying to setup my pinky switch on my TM warthog set up. That way i can use the modifier button with the tdc axis for my rudder since i have no pedals. I can easily achieve this in DCS. Is there a way I can do it in falcon bms. Its the only thing stopping me from playing BMS atm.

@Dreher875 not with BMS alone. You would need to use 3rd party tools.
To achieve this you could use JoystickGremlin and map a physical axis to multiple virtual vjoy axis and use a modifier to switch which virtual axis is moved whe using the physical axis with modifier. In Terms of rudder you can alternative use the Joystick roll on the Ground to steer as well. In the air to to the F-16 FLCS you are lying ever need to use rudder input

@oakdesign okay thank you for the third party software suggestion. As for what you said about the joystick, what do you mean by you can use the joystick roll direction to use the rudder. If I set the rudder and roll to x axis when I’m flying want it activate the rudder?

You asixn your X-axis to roll as for normal flying.
If you enable this option as shown in the screenshoot, then you can steer nose wheel steering with your Joystick left right (x-axis). Once you have no Weight on wheels so have lifted of the ground your Joystick Left Right function as roll again.
This is intended if you don’t have either rudder pedals or a Joystick with a twist axis -
@oakdesign I’ll be damn. That’ll do it. Thank you so much.

@Dreher875 you may also still wish to map a couple keyboard keys or buttons for the rudder … to stay on the runway during a crosswind landing, but that’s about it

@airtex2019 I did one better. I just ordered rudder pedals lol.

@airtex2019 - I do this for my Trim hat…the modifier (CMS->dwn, for my Warthog stick) swaps the hat between POV and Trim.
One of the things I love about the WH stick is being able to use CMS->dwn as a modifier and not interfere with any of the base F-16 HOTAS buttons, since CMS->dwn isn’t a Viper HOTAS switch.
