I meant “these textures”, but I was typing over the phone… so I think I messed up hehe

I am getting ready to install the F22 and want to make sure~
In the SkyDrive part 4 and part 5 are missing. Is that a problem? -

In the SkyDrive part 4 and part 5 are missing. Is that a problem? The “parts” belong to a file that is not complet yet. it is not for all users. It will be used to create a OCI F22, and are imcomplet yet.
Do not download it. It is not forbidden, but it will be at your own risk…
find a *.rar called “F-22-BMS-2012-09-12” and download it
Install, using “Lod-Editor”
Follow step by step carefully in the installation manual… You will get it installad

I followed all of your instructions in the “F-22-BMS-2012-09-12” .rar file… I launched BMS and loaded the F22 Ramp TE.
There were no changes to the F22. It still looked like a bad cartoon and no visible switches etc…
Any idea what I could have done wrong? -
I looked through the thread and could not find a link, but has the one click installer been created for the F-22??? Seemed to be in the works???
-
is there a way to disable the missile door animation? Its goofy to see it open all the time, and i’m not normally looking at my plane when i am firing a missle/bomb

Any idea what I could have done wrong?Hi, did you copy and paste the file: “3dcockpit.dat” to “cockpit art” folder
This file is important because it “says” for the Falcon.exe file, to read the correct model.
If you did not that, so do it so now, and tell me later.

The OCI, is not ready yet, since I did not upload all content to the “Skydrive”.
Joe Labrada will make the OCI for the comunity.
But I still say that the most safe way to install the F22 and it respective cockpit files, is the “lod-editor”Best regards

This is a good question…
I am able to disable, those animations. But only in the 3dsmax file. If there is a way to do it within the Lod editor, I do not know.
Some people will enjoy it when some fixes (was/would be) made in the hardpoints configuration, but some may complain.
I will leave this "choice for the comunity, and will make whatever they choose.
What do you say about that?

no need to change anything major for me, i was just wondering if there was a simple edit i could do.

Ok, Have you read some malu_moura90’s replies above? She explains better what to do for close the WBdoors in game, yours and wingman’s “WBD”.
BTW, some of what she wrote, will be used to fix the harpoints in the future… I am trying to find a solution right now.
Best regards

We need to take a look at your installation, and find out what is wrong, but now, I can not help you…
Tomorrow I will be back here… -
Appreciate it. I am sure I must have missed a step or something

I followed the video tutorials instead of pdf’s, and tried to install F-22 on Guam theatre. Now, I have the F-22 well instaled and working in Korea theatre but not in Guam theatre (the cockpit has no textures, knobs & buttons without funcionality, and the external textures are wrong). Well, it’s better than nothing, isn’t it?, hehe.
It’s an awesome Addon, metalhead, thank you for your efforts!!
P.D: will you make something about Eurofighter or russian jets?

Hi, thanks for your reply.
You must copy and paste the textures not only for korea, but in all “Koreaobj” folder in any theater you want to fly. If you want to fly in all available theaters, so you must copy the textures for all “Koreaobj” folders. I do not have right here, right now the correct paths in my mind, but I promisse tomorrow, I will write here the paths, for all theaters that I have in my computer, and following the example, you will find it in your installation.
About to have the cockpit files working very well in other theater than Korea, you must edit the “parent number” inside the file: “3dcockpit.dat” that is located inside the "ckptart folder. Unfortunatally, the parent numbers for all models, in all theaters are different. then you must edit the file. You will have to edit every time you change your theater of choice, IF you want to fly the F22. This is very well explained in the tutorial, AND I have previously added the 3dcockpit.dat file, and 3dbuttons.dat with the theaters name in the “tittle” of the file. Just read the tutorial, you will find the solution there…
You must have both files inside the ckpart folder, and ckpartN folder for night flights.
Please my friend, Read the tutorial…
Best regards

I don’t have ‘ckpart’ or a ‘ckpartN’ folder… ???
Nowhere in the installation folder did it say anything about that. Hmm.
