Falcon 4.33 CTD when external displays enabled
-
Hey guys!
BMS 4.33 running perfectly for weeks, extracted the two MFDs to 7" external displays around which I installed the cougar MFDs.
But yesterday I had a blue screen (not because of Falcon) and I had to rechange the Boot prioroty in bios, magically this had changed after the Blue Screen.
And now, today, I´ve no chance to get Falcon running with the display eytraction enabled, when I disable it, it works perfectly, but enabled it crashes after hitting the Launch button in Falcon Start Menu.
I already tried to rename the dx9display.dsp file in the User/Config Folder without effect. My System:
Win 7 64
i7 2600k @4.7
8gb 2600 Ram
Geforce 580GTX Zotac Amp 3gbAnyone any idea??
Thank you!!!

Go into the display extractor and disable all of them except the main and then save and close it. Re launch falcon to make sure it doesn’t ctd and then turn them back on
-
what is eytraction?
what was the BSOD stop message?
probably something fubared something… have you tried reinstalling?
-
@Cougar, tried it, didn´t work, I can launch Falcon as long as Display Extraction is off, when I put it back on, it CTD
@Arty; Eytraction means Extraction.
The Log File says:

Ah, and I did not notice the BSOD message…
-
BSOD Stop message like 0x000007A are important as they give a hint what might caused the problem. Also in many cases like a dll or a driver it says the name of the file that triggered the BSOD.
It might be on your event log on windows OS event viewer.

Hi!
Due to being too unimaginative to read out the bsod file, I reinstalled BMS et voila, it runs as it should…Thx for assistance anyway!!
