F-22 for Falcon BMS Creator: Fabrizio Fraccaroli. Myself.

@THE:
Hi,
Thanks again for the For the F-22 model… I tried experimenting with the .lod editor as per your tutorials posted on skydrive and was successful in importing the F-22 & cockpit into the game… the model is now in the game and performs well…
I’m experiencing two minor issues though:
-
the right weapon bay remains opened and inside, there is a JDAM bomb below the AIM-120 AMRAAMS. (I must mention that it was during a quick mission (dogfight) where I loaded 4 all-aspect heat seekers (presumably AIM-9 Sidewinders) and 2 radar guided missiles but three AIM-120’s appear…
-
on my installation the left (port) navigation light is green & the right(starboard) one is red… Shouldn’t it be the other way round?
[Attaching screenshots below]
Please don’t get me wrong I’m just seeking help as to where I went wrong… In addition could you please could you check your PM when time permits ? thanks
the weapons bay being open is something that metalhead is working on, not a problem with the installation.
as for the lights, honestly haven’t noticed…have to check later…

Hi Crazyjap thanks for the reply… Now that you mentioned about the weapons bay I noticed in my Falcon BMS installation last night is that during a tactical engagement I started out on a runway and in an external view I noticed that my starboard sidewinder bay remained open and that the wheels don’t spin? Is it a general issue or a mistake during the installation on my part… attaching screenshot below… thanks

Hi ESCHATOLOGIST,
In order to close the WBD, click in the AG mode in the ICP, then you will see the doors are closed. then you click again in the AG mode just in order to go back to nav mode…
Metalhead is working to sort out all issues you see not working…

Closing the WBD is visible only from your aircraft. The doors are still open.

Hi Nizmo, Glad to see you posting again…
To (THE ESCHATOLOGIST) I am trying to figure out how to solve the problem with WBD. The lights, I did not know it was wrong, It is easy to fix if needed.
The weapons inside the external model, will also be fixed when I find out how to link a (CT Record with a Parent Record), and this will be firs released in the New Nizmos’s HD theater, that I believe is under development. Sorry Nizmo if this was a secret…

hello metalhead do a self-installing exe version?

A self installer is not a good idea, as it would replace the whole “objects” folder in your installation of BMS. Think about how would you install it in other theaters? I would have to make an installer for all available theaters and this is not good. (large file, more than 4GBs) Much more…
I can not make it because I do not know how to do it. But I am going to make a new video tutorial “how to install the models using the lod editor” in a very EASY WAY that I’ve learned with Mystic from Falcon Online. This way is really easy, and I don’t think someone will have any issue with that. Please just have a little patience, I am having some difficulties right now in my privatel life, outside Falcon world. I will return ASAP.
Best regards

Hi moderators, I have changed a little the title of my thread. I’ve added the creator name: Myself.
Hope you do not find it as some kind of “poke” (never Sir)

Hi, all… I have some news… I got my computer, and now I can work a little in my models, but I will make all my efforts to improve the F22 first. No more pits for now, untill I get what I want with F22.
Bad news: I do not have a good internet connection, and I do not have even a bad connection either… LOL… So, only Pms and emails for now…

I have questions regarding the OCI install.
I downloaded your F22 it’s around 22MB, the OCI is over 400 MB.
What is the difference? Why might I install something so large? Is it recommended with or without your zipped F22?

the OCI is a copy of the entire falcon DB, so you dont have to install it yourself. It will overwrite other mods, and isn’t the most recent version of the F22
The other files are the lods that you insert into via lodeditor, into your existing DB, and is the way to go. I’ve also installed this about 10 times, (different theaters, installs) so if you want a hand, stop by our teamspeak.

Thanks my friend, for being always sharp for helping people with F22 files.
At “Phait”. The difference is the one crazyjayp said above. If you are able to install the models with lodeditor, then you do not need to use the OCI. And the OCI is not updated.
Only repeating what crazyjayp said…Regards Metalhead
