Saitek Rudder pedals
-
Just a Quick question, I just purchased a pair of Combat Saitek pedals and did not install the soft ware that came with them using BMS Flight control setup section to do the work. Yet on all setting ( none to large dead zones or saturation settings) either the rudder is very sensitive or slow to react.
Is anyone using Saitek rudder control software? and if so how does it work compared to BMS setup does it give a reasonable feel? Or is there another way to get a better/improved rudder control, basically lower over steering/ refine sensitivity of the rudder.

how can it be both very sensitive and slow to react at the same time?
I just plugged mine in, no software, and they work fine in BMS. Then again, I barely touch them, so maybe they could be configured better…

Hey Blu3wolf, They seem/feel extremely sensitive if I put them to none or small dead zone and none for saturation small imputes seem to yield quick turning results. If I set Dead zone to large and saturation to none or small the ship turns like the old EF2000 from DID (like a truck). Just looking for sensitivity and grace (setting) not a rolling panic. Just wondering if the Saitek software had some adjustable setting that would help before I install them.

My only comment is they work fine out of the box (for me). As you know, rudder control is automatic in bms and rudder pedals are largely limited to on the ground steering and brakes
