Shasta_man , kindly send your profile to [email protected]. Many thanks.

Would love to have a look at your profile [email protected]

Hi Shasta,
Does your profile work with Track IR? I do not need to use up one of the 8 way hat switches for panning the view around thus freeing up th 8 way to be used as a trim like the real F-16 HOTAS.

I’ll take a copy as well. [email protected]

Is there any way you could maybe post the profile online instead of making everyone email you?
Or even just walk us through how you went about binding this thing? I can get BMS to recognize either the stick or the throttle but not both.

Would appreciate also to test your profile

Would I also be able to get a copy, I just got my X55 today also. [email protected]
Thanks!

One of the quirks that I found was programming the hat switches. Use the advanced feature and make sure to use left control/shift/alt. the right control/shift/alt keys didn’t quite work.
Consider this . . . each key on your keyboard is assigned a unique ASCII value, even if they (shift, alt, ctrl) perform the same function. Theoretically, you can assign left-shift/right-shift, left-alt/right-alt, etc. to a keyfile.

Hey guys,
I need some help because I just ran out of ideas. I’m trying to set up the Mini Stick on the Throttle as my Radar Cursor, but I have no clue how to. I spent the past hour trying to figure out a way to do it without having to use the profile software because that thing occasionally crashes and almost kills my System every time while crashing so I just don’t want to rely on that poor excuse for a software that’s buggier than Windows. -

I’ve uninstalled/reinstalled some drivers and it seems to be ok right now (no more blue screens for a while).
The stick is not a dx button or axis - only H.U.D. can convert it into mouse or key presses afaik - which is very simple if you configure a band as in my profile here
Cheers

After almost a year of having the rhino, do you still use it as often/if at all? Any wear and tear issues? I’m looking for a good stick to buy

I am not having any problems at all…excellent HOTAS…one of the early users.

Work computer upgrade funding coming this fall, might have to ponder trading in the x65 for the x55 due to increased HOTAS functionality….

You sound very heartbroken
