Only the single seater has the cockpit maybe you selected in TE the two seater variant. During the last check I was surprised in TE āOMG where is the pitā then I discovered what I selected.

No, Ive definitely not got the cockpit. Im guessing it has to do with how I got the theater installed (copying the folders). Can anyone offer advice on how to get the installer to work? Do I need to do something special with the Art folder that was inside the post folder?

I have problem with enabling treesā¦ I already have activated it as in pictures in extras folder but no joy. Any advice??

To all those having issues with unpacking or installingā¦
You may be missing a DLL to unpack 7z which should have been included in the installer resources.
I am taking a look right now as it may have been not included.

In the meantime, if you are having issues try installing 7z on your system it should fix the problem until I can correct the installer.

I did use 7z, no joy. I think in my DL zip the .src file is missing, i suppose my DL is corrupted or maybe my routers firewall is blocking parts of itā¦
Can somebody with a working version please try to bring up an alternative download link?

The .src is embedded into the installer exe and is extracted at launch, there is no need to manage or extract it manually (unless you have to).
I forgot to include the 7z dll with the installer resources as Iām used to working with the stand alone A version using callbacks. The G version used here requires the 7z.dll to operate and is why some without 7z installed on their systems are not able to install.
Also, the installer will no longer unpack to /unpack but rather to the installerās temp folder located in the local user folder.
These fixes should take care of most, if not all of the issues mentioned.
Slightly OT: I could have used the native NSIS compression (LZMA) but itās notoriously slow on compile, and about 100MB heavier in this case. 7z allows LZMA2, and archive is significantly smaller.
Updated Installer (v2.95)
https://www.mediafire.com/?tc3av7apf7524k7Changes/Fixes:
-Included 7z.dll with installer resources.
-Swapped 7zG binary for 32 bit version vs 64bit.
-Temporarily unpacks to user/temp folder. -
New installer working. Thank you

Thanks a lot for your support Aphex, that worked. Let me throw money at you(falcononline)!

First post is updated with the new installer version from Khronik.

Well, the good news is that reinstalling using the new installer gives me the correct HUD on the block 40/42s!
The bad news is it also gives me the pilot too. Guess I need to screw with LODeditor to remove thatā¦. cannot see any of the switches I need with the pilot legs and body in the way.

I was not sure which Block 40/42 cockpit would be better and I decided this because of āmore contentā approach.

not one thats being used at the moment. Couldnt get it stable enough for my liking. Having the view waver around is very frustrating to me. So, I prefer the POV hat for now. That has the drawback that its not as quick, however.
Eventually, Im hoping the Rift will be stable enough that it will be a working solution for me.

I guess for now Im just going to be flying block 30/32/50/52 until I can be bothered working out what to do in LE to get rid of it.

It is likely easier to use the cockput dat files of othe Blocks, even the 3D model is in DB dat files simpy will refer to stock if you swap the files.
