the kneemap updater only changes the default Korea theather (8019.dds) If you want the file to be active you have to copy it to the other theater or…. (like i did)
create 8019.dds symbolic hardlinks in other theaters that point to the default 8019.ddsfor example
run dosbox as admin in the specific theater korea object folder:
mklink /h 8019.dds “D:\Falcon\Falcon BMS\Data\Terrdata\objects\KoreaObj\8019.dds”edit: the first dds file is the new created hardlink in the directory you are in
the second (“…8019.dds”) points to the origionalfor extra info

just copy the file to the theather directory.
KISS (Keep it simple, stupid) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/KISS_principleI would not like to destroy your sim by doing things you are not familiar with.

SORTED. Thanks Spit.

i knew you would manage. Now you know for life

Thanks for the heads-up. Not something I ever tested. (Who would do a thing like that?)
But after WDP has started, you can always change your Callsign again.
DTC->Main tab.I’ll add a check for that.
Thanks again.
Gr Falcas
I am new to BMS and have just recently installed WDP. I was actually doing most of my learning with the stock callsign “Viper”. I created a new callsign in BMS and played a few TE and such but never saved the DTC. When I loaded WDP and entered the new callsign, I got the error described above. Thankfully I figured it it out and saved the DTC in BMS with the new callsign and all is well.
Thanks Falcas for the great utility, what an experience I am having with BMS. I am sorry I missed this sim all these years.

This is a picture of my Radio Nav tab in Weapon Delivery Planner.
The Weapons Delivery Planner puts the Coordination Card data, not the Radio/Nav data, into the Comms jpeg file like this.
Did anyone else have this problem. What can be done about it?

I don’t see any problem…

Fubar2Niner
I installed 3.6.4 and have problems with Battle for Balkans stand alone from falcon Online. All other theaters work fine.
I am receiving that same message as Fubar2Niner:
MicrosoftNET.framework
Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click quit, the application will close immediately.
Field not found: “Flight.Arrive”I have the latest Microsoft NET.Framework installed.
When I uninstalled 3.6.4 and re-install 3.6.3, I now receive this error message and cant get the old version to work.
Error
File not found: c:\Falcon BMS 4.32\data\campaign\Korea\Balkans.idxAm I doing something wrong or is WDP 3.6.4 not compatible with Falcon Online Stand-alone Balkans theater?
Yes, Yes. I have done everything to install this update right. I have done many installs with no problems only on this update.
Thanks for your help. -

Maybe I’m saying things the wrong way, but I’ll say it another way that I see a problem.
After I click “Save Datacard” the box shows up that specifies the files that were saved for my flight. The third file is Cowboy 1_Comm.jpg, which I take it to mean it’s supposed to have Comm data. Here is a picture of the files in the Datacard directory.
The fifth picture is has filename Cowboy 1_Comm, which I take it to mean that it’s supposed to be a picture of the DTC Radio/Nav tab data.Instead, its a picture of the Coordination Card when I think it’s supposed to be the DTC Radio/Nav tab data, and that’s my problem.

Hi jc1!
WDP is supposed to print/save the coordination card. What you expect to find from the radio/nav page can actually be found on your datacard, on the Korea charts in your BMS docs folder, and in your a/c computer. There is another reason it is named comms.jpg….
Cheers mate,

Cheers mate,
ScubGreetings Scuby,
This is the first time I used WDP. What I expected to find on my datacard was that the ILS for my arrival airport would be there, but instead it had “–-”. So yeah, I agree with you that the data from the radio/nav page should be on the datacard. Well, after reading your post, I reopened WDP and, voila, the ILS was there. I don’t know how that happened??? but I’m glad it did.
Now that you’ve assured me that the comms.jpg should have the coordination card, why wasn’t the file named coord.jpg?
-
cause on the right bottom area there are the comms calls for the mission?
-
Hi jc1,
That card has 2 names actually, which is not always clear. It is called coordination card as well as comm card.
It has nothing to do with DTC list of radio frequencies.Gr Falcas
-
Hi Falcas,
Thanks for clearing up the name.
It bothered me as to why I didn’t know how I got the right ILS frequency for the arriving airport. I played around with the datacard which originally showed rwy 1 for arriving at Seoul. Rwy 1 doesn’t have ILS so I changed the rwy to 19 and ILS “110.9” replaced “–-”.:D
Now I could use some more help in connection with the WDP DTC Radio/Nav tab. The Nav box and the Airport box don’t seem to be synchronized with the datacard. For example, on my datacard I’m departing Kimpo rwy 32L but I want to change it to 32R. On the datacard I select 32R. The datacard rwy changes to 32R and ILS changed to 110.70. That’s good. But nothing changed in the Nav box of the Radio/Nav tab. Why not?
Going in the other direction from the Nav box to the data card, if my datacard has 32L and I go to the Airport box and select “Use” for rwy 32R, the Nav box in the Radio/Nav tab changes correctly, but the datacard does not change. Why not?

Hi JC1,
What you are expecting WDP to do is not what how it works. And on top of that, not how you want it to work.

WDP will select the DEPARTURE runway depending on the currecent weather. As you don’t want to have double information the runway for the arrival apt, in case this is the same as the departure apt, will be set to a different runway.
If you want to change the runway, you can always do this.@jc1:

The question is not “why not”… the question is “Why would you”? Having the ILS freq in your DTC is not needed at all.
There is no link between the DTC and Datacard conserning the runway and ILS frequencies.
Yes you can, but that is not a good reason to do so.The DTC is what will be in the F-16 when you load the data from the DTC.
The Datacard is a paper with information. Having all the same information 10x doesn’t help you at all.
Most of the time you are not using the ILS at all. And if, you will be inserting it during flight.
For which runway? You can’t know for sure, as the weather can (and will) change over time and the runway can be changed.
Having information for different runways is much better.Gr Falcas

Hi Falcas,
What I get from all you said is that it doesn’t matter what’s in the DTC or what’s on the Datacard, I could be directed to take off from a rwy not specified on either the DTC or Datacard. Same is true for landing. Is that right?

Thanks a lot. Now my takeoffs and landings make sense with respect to your WDP datacard and DTC Radio/Nav tab. I look forward to learning about the other aspects of your WDP.
