Keyboard letters are sticking and sending bogus commands

Not sure where to post this, or if this is even an BMS issue (suspect not) but some of you may have run into this situation
I have CH fighterstick, throttle and pedals, with a Logitech mouse and G105 keyboard.
Lately and very often, a keyboard key will stick so that it is sending me a repeated key (ie. latest one was the “shift” key…In past it has been the “.” key" or the “n” key
The problem of course comes in when in the game and I press a button and even though the keyboard command is shift 0, the signal is like shift 0 shift. This for some reason screws up my Hotas when changing modes, or in the case of other commands as well (if the problem was the “n” key where it would give a signal of nnnnnnnnnnn.I have shut down the computer, but it comes back,
I have disconnected the USB and put it in another slot, still it comes backI thought the problem might be the sticky key command, but it still comes.
Has anyone come across this and how do you fix this.
The problem is I don’t know if it is my computer or interface with other devices like my CH Hotas, or Trackir? How can I trouble shoot this.
I am using Windows 8.1, i7 4790 with an Nvidia GTX 970 card

Have seen this before when using Saitek SST software.
My own fix for the problem I had was to just avoid all key combinations that use a shift key, or an alt key, ctrl, etc…
In fact now almost everything on my setup is set to use directX inputs instead of keyboard combinations.

Check all your macros and stick software and check the timings of all key presses in there. I had same stuff happen to me when I didnt make the joystick buttin macros short enough or when I had put wrong orders in there.

With so many different keys required, I can’t see how to do this without the use of shift, ctl or alt key combinations

Wouldn’t know where to even start to check this…what would I do?
Not sure if I am even using macros…I know I don’t have anything from the keyboard using macros…that I know of …since I never programed that.

Start by using 128 directX buttons to handle your HOTAS, MFDs and some of the commonly used switches, and then leave the majority of the cockpit completely inaccessible by keyboard. Yes, you need to use the mouse to complete a ramp start doing this.

Sounds a bit like maybe the keyboard is dirty? If it’s brand new then it can’t be, but if you’ve had it for a while then it’s quite common. From normal use stuff just accumulates in there. Take out the offending key and see, clean a bit if necessary and put it back in, and maybe that helps?

That’s how I prefer to do it - sidestick controller, throttle quadrant, and a few other items like the slap switch, ejection handle, and A-A/G Master Modes. All the rest are activated by mouse cursor/button, as if I was activating them by hand.

With a CH product there is never a need to use a “virtual keyboard” at all. CH Control Manager allows up to 4 virtualized devices with direct DirectX binding and powerful scripting which is better than TARGET which only allows one virtual device.

Er…… what?

This is something I always experienced, Saitek, T.A.R.G.E.T or good ol’ keyboard. My only advice is never ever us shift key combinations, ever. Save yourself the trouble. Did I say never? Never.

You know how TARGET makes “TARGET Combined Controller”? CH software makes CH Virtual Device 1, 2, 3, and 4. It is possible to map 128 DX buttons directly without any use of middle man keyboard.
