Mfd's acting weird
-
Hi everybody,
if I get in my cockpit I have to start up my mfd’s. If I started them up and change modes to AA they will turn off and I have to put them on again. If I then go to AG-mode I again have to turn them on again! Is this normal or am I doin’ something wrong? -

Are you setting up the DTC from the menu for each submode so that you are setting up ‘profiles’ for the MFDs?

they are blank. I set it up when I am on the runway. Can I do that in the menu?
And dare I ask; DTC? -
probably Data cartrige, press the USB-Stick to the right before entering the 3D World and set up the MFDs as desired

I strongly suggest that, if you haven’t already, read all the documents. Don’t sit and read them all in one go, you’ll go mad and remember only a fraction. Tackle the sim in chunks. The -1 and -1-1 are great for avionics etc, but you may find the BMS-Training.pdf easier to follow as they tie in and are designed alongside the training missions.

Ok, thanks for the heads up. Seems I have been taking it to lightly. But I really love the sim so you will be seeing me here more often now!

That’s the spirit mate, and I need more of it myself! Keep at it; it’s a neverending learning curve but it’s always rewarding.

Ok, found the data cartridge. Used it only for comms. Mfd’s up&running, I’m a happy camper.
