I have a problem with the installing
i followed the instructions and the outsidemodel is corect but the cockpit is wrong. i have the f16 pit with the switches position from the f 22 pit. can anyone help me?
sorry for my english and my bad painting skills
-
what i also noticed is, i didn’t have the same or all the files you had and in the tutorial you said you’re just doing the first 2 layers of lod, the others we have to do on ourselfe, so i didn’t know what i have to do

Replace the external model, install new parent records for each of the cockpit files, starting for the wings…. there are numbers on the models.
repeat the process of append new parent record to each of the cockpit file until the last. and then copy and paste the textures to the texture directory. copy and paste and replace as needed the cockpit dat files and you are done.
Pay attention to the tutorial, regarded to edit the external model, and apply the texture sets correctly…

Awesome! everything went well, except that the 6-Hud_LOD is missing in the F-22 Folder. please help, thanks.

I am working on it, I need further adjustments on the HUD config, on the cockpit dat file. Wait a little bt please.
BTW I am without an internet connection, it will make hard to upload the files on this public internet, which is slow, and there are many people all the time…

The Latest Version is Missing the 6-HUD-RTT.LOD file in the version F-22-BMS-09-03-2013 can you please advise or send me the download link so I can continue the install? One more thing you should seriously consider creating the same plane for DCS. I know that with the level of design you put into this mod for BMS Falcon the Pilots of DCS would Love this plane, Plus if the Developers of DCS like the Plane they may buy it from you to add into the core Game. Time well spent.

I have an idea. How bout we put this F-22 in with a future Falcon release? This thing is way better than the default F-22.

Yes, sure, but first I need to reduce the external model, regarded to the “polycounts”… I did not do it yet…

So,do I need to uninstall previous F-22 model and cockpit to install F22-31-05-2015 ? Also what determines the F-22 working in say Israel or Korea theaters ? Do I need 3dckpit.dat files for those theaters ? How do I check for correct parent record numbers ?

Dat files are shared for all theaters, but 3rd party theaters as I know use spearated DB so you need to integrate for all manually.
