Well not……LOL. Seems the Stoopid AI wants to move TO operations to the other ABase(Guess that one is into the wind DJ), so when they taxi across the Hitbox to the other carrier ABase they fall into the sea…ROTFLMAO!!! It was a good try M8’s, but the ATM reared her ugly head again.

BUT, no textures were harmed in the conversion from solArmys\ArmySouls work. In fact Wavey, no textures are used…LOL!!

Soooo…here is the conversion from his .skp to .3ds from Rhino(Python….U need to write a Script)) to .obj for 3DSMAX to .lod from 3DSMAX…HAHAHA…Huge model and lots of loss in the .mtl if I don’t do it this way. Me so Stoopid’ is there an easier way modellers,PM me???
Reinstall of MAX took care of it……jeez…cool…LOL!!!A LOT going on here, first the abort (TAG) by the AI, that is not my wingman flying over me. He is Inbound from another flight, he aborted due to my CAT launch. Seems Code sez’ TO or Trap or not. In RL thats how we operate, we have a launch sequence than a recover sequence.
Second the Side CAT launch for “Joe Player” is Single only ATM……Sorry… Tried 9 ways to Sunday = +80 hours to get HER to be cooperative in 4.32, NOGO…can do IF you strip the Unit\Squad down to one vehicle, but that is NOT what we should have to do.
We’ll see in 4.33 maybe?? DUNNO, its a Point thing me thinks.
Third, the model being rendered in game is over 200’000 TRI’s, but as it is “At Sea” the FPS hit is minimal.Closer to the PR terrain it drops to ~50fps.Still an acceptable level for 9c…Regards,

The Nimitz Class may be done for 4.33…DUNNO, can’t say if I did know, but we go forward in GUAM……
Due to the fact that GUAM Theater start’s in 2012 we see no need for dated vehicles. Though we cannot or have not been able to get the DBase back to 1.08.
My desire IMO.
B4 we scream WHY!!! I’ll explain. Many and I mean MANY models (hundreds) were introduced incorrectly to the Data base and persist today. Maybe the BMS Boyz, are fixing this in 4.33, again DUNNO…
BUT, going forward in GUAMdas boot:
This will replace, not add to the DBase, the Enterprise……there is a new class of carriers in the Real World now, this is the first of what is coming

AND I have imported my OF work on the Harrier STVOL model BUT!!!but!!! it is not playing well ATM with BMS 4.32 (maybe OK for the AI):
Still not playing well……sigh…F_it, wait for 4.33 I suppose…dum,dee, dum dumWe can see from the Pic that it has “Jumped” up to TO from the deck due to the outlined PhysX (the cloud), but for some reason I am unable to “Stick It” to the deck.(If you BMS guyz are reading,it does not need to attach to Catapult to launch, I know a whole other code rewrite…LOL!!!)
Keeps deagg’ng on the damn sea tile…LOL!!! No matter where I put it, Z-bias maybe, bad data…DUNNO???
I may take a Falcon Minute to finger it out, then again, maybe not……LOL!!!tired demer

Ran into a little problem with the Assault……seems Opfor shoots back…the InnerTubes can’t handle that…LOL!!!
At least in 2D…Soooo…I have given them a “LitterAll” solution to this problem. Hence the USS Freedom:One of 4 in the world ATM, (One in Falcon World) but it is packed with slots and ordnance and shoots back.Pretty lethal when it is in the Zone

While I am still on Falcon vacation there is still some work going on. (When I have the time)
Mostly Carrier OPs and models ATM
So……Here is something to think about when it comes to the “moving” airbase’s and poly count\FPS.
The current CODE seems to treat the Carrier groups as a separate “Entity” that is an Objective AND has “Moving” features on it.
Pretty kewl when you go outside the Falcon box and think 'bout it….;) (Don’t know who did that little bit of C++ work, but kudo’s to U)
That being stated I went inside the box (gag…cough,cough…LOL) and looked at stock Kunsan ABase and it’s 253 “features”. If I do some dirty math i.e. 4K max (BMS) for feature models I come up with >1million triangles on that objective with its features, but it is actually closer to 212,000 triangles (I did not include EVERY damn Taxi Sign…LOL)
So I concluded that I could SPEND a few hundred thousand on the Carrier feature on the objectives. FPS proves I was correct…see pic’s…;)As well, I have been refining the PHD\PT data to “stick\spawn” us on the catapult 99 and 44\100% of the time.
