I tried this campaign update and it doesn’t seem to work right. I followed your instructions and noticed that if you don’t check the set by HQ button flights don’t generate. If the do generate, when you select a generated flight and goto ramp. Just before you would go into the pit, you get kicked back to the 2d map screen with your flight gone. Or is this meant to played in multiplayer?

this is usually what happens when a carrier has wrong team’s objective. or no objective. there may be other ways to get that, but last time i saw this same reaction was when US carrier had Russian owned carrier objective. this also sounds similar to a destroyed runway but i dont recall these exact circomstances.

Whooah… you have lots of errors in rar-packed campaign , double unit/objective-id’s etc… Are you sure you haven’t edit your database files, and your .cam file is fully compatible with current BMS database/install?
Rename current BMS install directory to something different , then Install default/virgin BMS in default directory where you original install was, then try to run your campaign, then you’ll see is it compatible.

its compatable and default kto. MC will clear those errors automaticaly with one click of the save button. i flew as denmark f16 and got tasked several flights and they ran fine. (made sure not to set by hq) and tasking still works fine. the only showstopper i see so far is the carriers. the only way to get those flights , is to hijack them in the air. i plan to fix the carriers (at least US) and submit it back to styles. also errors will be gone. these errors are common on all TE/camp built with falcon te editor or tac edit. the number of jets listed error is just a small known discrepancy with older validac file that comes with 2012. it wont be there in future updates.

one other thing is, no campaign ending triggers are in the save0 file. on purpose for never ending campaign? does it end somehow else?

Thanks for the info. MC fixed the issue with the packages as you mentioned.

I would like to ask why the limitation of using MC to modify the number of weapons is not successful. For example, I want to limit the number of 120C to no more than 20, but it automatically recovered. Is there any other way? Thank you.

This is why are having a little problem with vintage campaign. The planes get their info from “vehicle/plane/hardpoints” and “weapons/squadron stores” in Falcon editor. So to make major changes with weapons, you may have to adjust db a little.
If there is a way to do it with MC. Falcas is the guy to ask, or

Thank you for your advice. I’d like to copy your script and publish it in the Chinese BMS community. Do you need your copyright? And what tools do you use to make the script?

Hi asleepwater.
No need for copyright issue, just adjusting load out properties of original db is done with the “Falcon Editor” tool located on bms start screen after you click the bms exe.
Adjusting db can make online compatible problems. If you make a load out mod you should post it for your online players to use as well so it will all be the same.
Here is one way to adjust db without needing a large db upload.
