Which theater are you using? I assume POH, right? It also depends on the exact model of the plane you are flying.
Welcome to BMS!

Hi hoover
Yes poh and I use the f 16Mike

I’m afraid you’ll need the excact F-16 model you’re using in order to remove the body (I think).
In the Ikaros theater, check the
art/ckptart
folder, there should be a subdirectory named like the f-16 model you are using (I’m not at my gaming machine right now so I cannot look up the file name, sorry). I think it would work similar in POH as it’s described here:

Hi!
IIRC, the only F-16s that have the legs model are the portuguese ones from 201st and 301st squadrons.
All the other F-16 variants remain original in the DB.
If you want to remove the legs from them, you need to use LOD Editor and replace the proper .LOD model with the original one.
There’s a .xls file in the Docs folder that tells you the LOD numbers for each F-16, but if you need some assistance, PM me and I’ll do it for you.
Cheers!
BTW: you shouldn’t loose the legs, otherwise you will also loose a pair of really nice combat boots

Dear Nuno,
This is wrong. At least also the HAF F-16C block 52+ has in POH the pilot’s legs while the default one in Korean theater have not them.
Also the friend that works in the pilot kneemaps must update both the map and the NavAids list and share them with the community! Right now they are obsolete :(.

Ahhh, yes. Just checking right now.
So what we have is the pilot legs inserted in the cockpithudmodel parent #4, which basically is the same for every F-16 with the exception of the CM-40/42, DM-40 and the C-40-EAF. Thanks for the correction, Nikos. It’s been some months now and I couldn’t recall it without checking.
Regarding the kneemaps, once I have some free time in the next days I’ll update them and share them here on the forum.
Cheers

Bravo Nuno, just release them from now. No need for an update to be included.
POH users should benefit of correct kneemaps from now…
