Microsoft Mixed Reality

Are there any plans for supporting Microsoft Mixed Reality?

No, man. No one is working on a native compatibility for BMS in anything for VR or MR. It’s not a lack of desire, it’s a lack of expertise in this new field - not a lot of VR coders floating around with time to kill, and on top of that us VR/MR users are a niche of the larger community as a whole, too – so, huge workload for tiny slice of users means this is not something to look forward to in the near future. Keep an eye on the threads of course (I do), but for now BMS will surely continue as it is and I find it impossible to complain seeing how great BMS is already. I’ll say this, after years of flying with multiple monitors, TM MFD’s, etc., I found myself a bit in the weeds flying in emulated VR tests (with serious bugs) because I’m used to my desk being my “cockpit”.
There are ways to use 3rd party software to attempt to achieve VR while playing BMS, and some of these methods would likely work with MR as well, depending on software and hardware capabilities. I enjoyed playing it via Virtual Desktop on a slightly curved screen that appeared to my eyes to be the size of massive movie theater screen, and by leaning in I could read the guages. Just know that there are caveats such as resolution issues and blurry lettering, improper 1:1 head tracking, imprecise DoF effects, etc. and these challenges can make it difficult to emulate VR with 3rd party software, and to eliminate these issues one by one. Check the VR threads for some great tips and methods shared by the community, just know we haven’t “cracked” it yet, there is no perfect setup but some things come very close:
