LOD Editor Question

Hello Gents!
I am in the process of learning LOD editor and is going nicely.
I have a doubt that I cannot solve by myself:
I am installing one of the Jan Has LVN2 models, with comes with 2 texture sets.
The model that I have now is less detailed (less polys) but more texture sets (5).If I wanted to use these additional sets of skins in the LVN2 model so I could have 5 sets and use in each one of them the skins I have now for the less detailed model.
a) Is possible to update the texture table for the LVN2 model? If so, could you point me to any doc that describe the operation?
Or ,
b) the skins must be done specifically for the LVN2 models, so I cannot use the less detailed model skins? Thanks!

Ok I learned that every model has it owns textures and you can only reuse partially skins from othe models (for instance the tail)
Anyways I am still interested in knowing how to increase (or reduce) the value of texture sets in LOD editor.
I’ve found this thread with some information to follow.
Will try to use if I can get something from there, but if someone can help me I appreciate it.
And if anyone knows if Raptor published that document that he mentions in that thread, please point me to it.

Open up LOD Editor, Under View, click on Vehicles, at upper left next to CT#, click on Name to bring the list into alphabetical order.
Scroll down to the vehicle you want to look at and click on it once to highlight it. In the Parent Box, click on Normal, that will open the LOD Parent Data box.
At the top middle is the Data box, you will see a field for Texture Sets. You can change, increase or decrease it in that box, then after you’ve altered the entry, on the right hand side you need to click Update.

Thanks Cloud 9
That I knew but my problem was how to update the texture table with the 3rd set and its corresponding number of textures.
The answer was here:
https://www.benchmarksims.org/forum/showthread.php?15225-How-be-added-a-new-skin-without-replacing&p=215730&viewfull=1#post215730I would never had thought that right clicking on the root node would open the dialog I was searching for!
Thanks for the reply!

Gotcha, thought you were having a problem with the other step, glad you found the solution.
LOD Editor is a fickle monster as you have witnessed, LOL

Flyway old chap!, yes, I am using the holidays to try to make easy the installation of BMS to my squad mates and see if I can hook them
(we usually fly WWII sims)
We have now a dedicated server and a common install. I hope they survive the steep learning curve… If you 201 VFS want to join us someday in a MP it will be and honour.
Regarding LOD editor I am now at a good end user level, so if you ever need any help I can explain you what I know and avoid you the hassle.
All the best mate.

Any links to your squad’s web/forums?
Cheers.
