No more 'center ui' option?
-
set g_bCenterUI 1 // If set, the 2D UI in window mode will be centered horizontally and vertically on the desktop (e.g. for triple screen users)
Seems like this is no longer an option in 4.34 cfg file but does anyone know if there’s a replacement option? Cheers!

There is now a 2D and 3D position option in the Cockpit Display Extraction console. Enable borders for the 2D window, drag it to where you want it, then go back and disable borders. It’s actually better cos you can offset it to one side slightly, stuff like that. Play around with it and you’ll see it is better now.

Cheers, just noticed that now! Can you confirm the size of the 2D window so I can calculate the exact corner pixel instead of guesstimating?
Curious as to how being able to “offset it to one side slightly, stuff like that” makes it better? Not being funny here and no offense meant, just wondering why you say this and therefore maybe have situations in mind that I’ve not considered and may find useful to myself too. Cheers!

None taken For me, I have it offset to the left of centref, then I can have my TS window to the right and the two don’t overlap. Personal preference thing.

Cheers! But how would that work once you’re in 3D? Or do you have a separate monitor to display 2D and TS?
Thanks Frederf!

I have 2 monitors, but the second is for MFD and other gauges. Once in 3D I do not worry about the TS window, we are on IVC while in 3D always, usually mute the mic on TS just before committing (when I remember )
