UHF? VHF?

p. 30 of the Dash-1 shows VHF as pushing the radioswitch up, UHF is pushing the radioswitch down. In the full.key file and the pitbuilder.key file, these are the entries:
SimTransmitCom1 -1 0 0xC7 0 0 0 1 “TQS: COMMS Switch Up - UHF”
SimTransmitCom2 -1 0 0xCF 0 0 0 1 “TQS: COMMS Switch Down - VHF”Which one is correct?

I think uniform up, victor down.
Are you ready to fly MP?

It’s a little confusing because the switch is on the backside of the throttle so “up and down” aren’t so clear. I think it’s better to refer to VHF as “forward” and UHF as “aft.” The switch is operated by the index finger of the left hand which rests on the grip similar to a motorcycle.
The VHF direction is a push-type motion away from you, farther “over the horizon” using the same muscles as pushing an elevator button. The UHF direction is a pull-type motion toward you using the same muscle movement as pulling the trigger on a gun. This makes some sense because you will normally use VHF much more often than UHF, especially in combat since it talks with your flight members and the motion to activate the switch is easier.

No, not ready to fly MP just configuring my controls and came across this confusion. Thank you Frederf for explaining it properly. So the key files are correct but the manual has it reversed.
