Throttle Slider Not Working - Nor Are Rotaries, but Buttons Are Fine
-
I just bought a Cougar second-hand and the throttle and associated rotary switches don’t seem to work.
I’ve posted over on DCS and gotten some help, but I wanted to post here to see if any of you were familiar with what I’m experiencing and might know of a fix.

Any help would be appreciated!!!

Little update: Ok. This is weird.
I just put the old pot (original one that came with it) back in the throttle? Throttle axis still doesn’t register, BUT, the rotaries are fine now! They work and calibrate perfectly now.
wtf is going on with this stick???

Someone over on DCS mentioned I might have the 3v board instead of a 5v board, which would explain why the hall sensor isn’t working.
I’m going to see if this is the case.

Did you disconnect the multi pin plug from the throttle pcb? Cause if you placed it back centered to the column of pins that might explain the problem. If I recall correctly the plug mast leave 2 pins to the left free. I don’t remember very well just try to shift it opposite current position.

HOT DAMN!!! Appears that the problem with the sensor was that I have a 3v board instead of a 5v. I soldered a wire to jump the resistor and BAM - now the throttle axis is working!
Only problem is the calibration isn’t giving me full range of motion with the throttle. lol

HELL YEAH MOFOS!!!
Uninstalled then reinstalled the drivers for the HOTAS and…
I HAVE THROTTLE SLIDER NOW!!!
Thank you all for your help - THANK YOU!!!
