4.34 ATC Question for whomever is in the KNOW!!
-
So I have 2 add on third party Theaters I’m working on.
They are identical in file structure, except an ATC folder/files. And all other files are exact, except the campaign and art files of course.
One theater works fine in 4.34, yet it has no ATC folder/files!
The other theater has an ATC folder/files, yet it CTD’s.
Xlog shows an issue: [00:00:00.000] Unable to open ‘E:\Falcon BMS 4.34\Data\Add-On Theater\Theater\ATC\airbase.lst’, filesOpen=0
Why would one theater that doesn’t have a ATC folder/files run fine and the other that does say it’s unable to open it??
I’m thinking possibly it has something to do with the campaign file??
Baffled here! Can anyone shed a light on this?
Cheers,

Could your post the “ATC” folder please.

I’ve already figured out it’s not the ATC folder.
Everything is working fine in Mission Commander and I’ve checked the other 3rd party theaters and some don’t even have an ATC folders and if they do they’re not being used.
So it’s something else. It’s an old theater that had been developed for FreeFalcon and I’ve ported it over. But I’ve added all the necessary BMS core files and converted the campaign files with MC, so I’m not sure what is hanging it up??

@Cloud:
[00:00:00.000] Unable to open ‘E:\Falcon BMS 4.34\Data\Add-On Theater*Theater*\ATC\airbase.lst’, filesOpen=0
Path doesn’t look right, it should say \Terrdata\

Path doesn’t look right, it should say \Terrdata\
That’s a function of the xlog code, what it outputs and is correct!
The add on theater is named “Theater”. Why the path doesn’t say terrdata, as that’s where the ATC folder is located, I haven’t a clue?!?! Only a coder can answer that question!

HAHA, I figured it out!!
That path from the Xlog is telling us where the ATC folder is “SUPPOSED” to be!!
