Why is so low FPS?

I play Korea’80 campaign and nearby FLOT (where are many vehicles and other units) FPS fall from 30-35 to 17-15.
My PC: CPU E6550 C2D 2,3 GHz
v/c GTS 450 1Gb
2 Gb memory.
What is the problem?

What is the problem?My guess is your core 2 duo. you could also stand for a RAM upgrade.

What is your resolution & settings ? You have also too low memory , 4Gb would be better. Your cpu should be ok, just try to overclok it bit and get better gpu (450 gts is quite low end gpu)

i5-2400S 2.5GHz, HD7850 2GB, 8 GB RAM, the CPU runs on max x30 multiplier. Even with this config I have to turn off literally all nice GFX effect in config editor to get 24-30 FPS in the most crowded FLOT sections. In fact I have no idea how can run other players BMS4 in case they turn everything on, even in a single empty TE the FPS is below 24 FPS in a clen weather with inclement settings FPS is a signle digit to me…

Weird, i have all GFX settings ON and my fps stays near 100 in empty TE and stays about 40-50 in campaings too , same thing for my friends. We are very happy with performance of falcon bms, runs very smooth. 2560x1440 res and in game antialising set to level 3 (and i run fullscreen mode if that maters)
3570k (oc to 4,2ghz) 8g ddr 1800mhz and nvidia GTX 660 2gb + SSD drive for windows 7 and second SSD for BMS & DCS
And motion blur is off from config , i hate it

try adding an extra gigahertz to your processor speed and see if that helps

Currently it is runnin on 3GHz, that is the max what can provide. I plan to change my CPU to a lot stronger, I just simply to lazy to buy and build into my rig.

Why the Low power i5-2400s that’s your problem

What is the problem?Are you using Win7 ???
If your not a memory upgrade and Win7 will improve things for you.
Don’t add to the 2 gigs but replace with 4gig of 1066 capable memory.
The GTS 450 is still a reasonable card and while 2.3GHz CPU is getting old its still a good CPU.
But if you have the money Build a new i5 with a good MoBo, 8gig of 1600/1833 memory, don’t forget to spend money on “namebrand” 550/650W PSU (you don’t need any higher wattage) Antec, Coolermaster, Corsair, Thermaltake.
And if need you can re use the GTS 450 for a while.
