Logitech/Saitek - Flight Switch Panel
-
Hi folks,
I bought a “Flight Switch Panel” a couple months ago, in addition to some other peripherals. Since it has plenty of buttons and even a gear lever, I thought it would fit pretty well for my “desk-pit”.
It didn’t take much time to figure out that this device is not recognized as a DirectX device and there is no driver support by Logitech. The only thing they offer on website are plug-ins for certain simulations; FSX, Prepar3D, X-Plane.I found a third party software that supplemented DCS modules via plug-ins as well. No plug-in for the ‘God of Air Combat Simulations’ though!
However, this software is recognizing all the buttons from the device and is able to assign all of those to virtual keybindings. So, that’s what I did and it worked. Well, everywhere except in BMS.
IE., I just assigned the button “N” to one of the switches and it types an “N” in notepad when I press the assigned button on the device. I open up Falcon, go to Setup, press “N”, and nothing is going to happen. (Should be Night-Vision by default, IIRC)Does someone know why it doesn’t work?
I would like to have some help/advice here. Thanks in advance!

Are you running your 3rd party key mapper as Administrator?
I have to run programs interfacing with BMS, such as Helios, YAME, Voice Attack all as Administrator on Win10 in order to get them recognized by BMS -
That’s it, you solved it! Now it’s recognized by BMS. Those damn admin rights again!
Thank you very much!Z9
