Logbooks etc.

hi i have a logbook that i pulled out (name.lbk file) i want to put it into my new install. i have a backup of course, so i copy it, put it in \user\config, load falcon, assign my name to the name of the logbook and then it overwrites the file with 0 hours played 0 kills etc.

is there any way to get it to knock that off?

Maybe you forgot to change from Viper to “name” inside the logbook page on falcon?

yeah… either i’m being very stupid or this is more complicated than it has any right to be heh. i’m changing my name on the settings page in options settings for ––> “name”

should i be accessing logbook from campaign, or does that lead to the same place?

Create a new pilot with your callsign. Then replace the newly created .lbk file with your old copy. That has always worked for me.

alright. got it to work, though what i did differently that time who knows.
