And the Tornado models have the correct coordinates for refueling, has anyone seen it?

No no, I don’t have my pc at hand, so I don’t have correct location data!
I just point you to change that refuel location. -

New experiment…Nordic, (with my tweaks and edits…)
I try to use the Sao Paolo and the 25th Mayo as aircraft carrier. CTD…
Try the F-4 Navy with the us Roosevelt, no problem.
Then i change the taskgroup roosevelt, swith the carrier with th Hermes.
Then I put the Hms Ark Royal 3d model in, for the hermes with the skijump…Result:
I know with lodeditor there is somewhere a z-axis??

- make sure you use correct Parent.dat file. it defines the hitbox/height of new carrier.
- you need to edit [carrier objective] with Falconeditor.
better check existing carrier objective data (nimitz class) and learn how they set Z value. in this case, Z value is -47.736

highlight
8.RunwayDimListType.
then you’ll find…

1.Rwy-Dim Pt.
the two define the takeoff runway locations, coordinates data at upper X, Y, Z slots. change Z value for new carrier. -

Okay,I took the carl vinson: replace it with the 3d.lod, found in your zip files, the ark royal…did the editing, found out that is not -48, but +48.
Only now need some edit with the taxi routing…!

And, you need buccaneers, gannets, and some SAR choppers to complete the fleet air arm! -

I just found that your the 3D mesh of your Ark Royal is really decent.
I suppose that you have all the rights to use and modify it right ?
What about doing an high resolution texture set, and enhancing the model itself with small additions ?
It would be really nice for a Cold War theater, and it could be a nice tribute to our friend Manos who did his fabulous F-4K Phantom FG.1.
Maybe some people here could help you to make a nice texture job for it.
What do you think ?

yes anyone is free to mod it.
high-res texure is the simplest way to face-lift it.
as for adding more details, no i don’t plan to upgrade it further.

IIRC the FG1/F-4K in 4.36 Nordic DB is a model from Thoarek(Trukey), and used in FF/BMS for years.
I’ve not seen Manos’ F-4K yet.Maybe some people here could help you to make a nice texture job for it.
