No larger caliber aaa explosion/black smoke puffs….does bms 4.33u1 have such effect(by ks12/19)? -

I would have got it on the circle but I pushed the nozzles forward at the last minute! You have to be careful in that section though, as that is where the catapult code catches you
I’ve done loads of stuff in my Falklands folder now, Etendard/Exocet attacks on carriers, low level Skyhawk bomb runs in San Carlos bay, GR3 rocket attacks on enemy artillery positions, low level intercepts of those Hercules supply runs (although where they got flares from in those Herky Birds I do not know :)), high Altitude Learjet intercepts, a Vulcan bomb run on Stanley AF, a fictional attack by 6 Harriers with Sea Eagles on the Belgrano, breaking through a Skyhawk BARCAP sent up by 25 de Mayo… I set up a pair of Royal Navy Destroyers against two Argentinian destroyers, and after a few minutes all the ships were sinking…
One of the only things I’ve not been able to get working is the tankers - the victor tanker won’t drop a boom when I get close to it, and I can’t do the long range Etendard sortie without being able to refuel - they would need a C130 refuelling aircraft, I was trying to find the code for the boom so I could add it to a new C130 object. I’ve got some terrain tiles to do on the islands themselves, and sort out the objectives, then I think it could be possible to pack up a Falklands theatre with some good TE’s!

FYI - my test DB korea 1950 and Falkland, not work with
BMS4.33U2.correction - the test DB still work with U2. but old TEs not compatible with U2 and cause CTD. building new TEs solve the CTD.

the AI ac tasked with TASMO can drop iron bombs on a fixed waypoint near a carrier group, like hitting a fixed ground target( of course ships already moving far away)…means iron bombs armed AI cannot hit moving target… they need dive-bombing mode.
in contrast AI torpedo bombers with fake torpedo/harpoon can attack ships effectively… in one TE I saw several white trails heading ships and hit them badly.

more test report…
after changing some AAA ammo parameters, or switching to use KS12/19 100mm/85mm shell directly, I made ship AAA generate explosion puffs in BMS4.33U2! the flash effect in 3d pit is cool.
I’ve tried to increase the fire rate to generate more puffs, the result is fair, not dense enough.
I realize each ship in a carrier group can fire one AA weapon at one time, so the max number of puffs is up to the ship quantity in naval unit (in a KS19 battalion you have many KS19 vehicles = more puffs). I’ll test 40 or 30mm AAA with puff explosions later. -

Hey 3C: the MiG-35 mesh in the “All models” download is a singe-crew model with a two-pcrew nose texture. Do you happen to have a single-crew texture that would fit this model?
no. the pic looks ok, what’s wrong with it? longer radome texture?
