GUI screen freezes after exiting 3D
-
Hi guys,
I made a video that shows my issue. Every time I exit a 3d session, my GUI screen freezes. BMS still run but I can’t do nothing because screen shows a freezed image of the GUI. I can exit BMS cause I remember Back and Exit button spot on the screen. -
No suggestions?

Are you recording ACMI. On large mission recording GUI can freeze up to several minutes during compiling the ACMI.
I personally use loithos or the newer external ACMI compiler from Razgriz to avoid those stuck GUIGesendet von meinem SM-G930F mit Tapatalk

I’m not recording ACMI, not intentionally at least…. will check some callbacks activates with all pit functions…
Thank you

I experienced the exact same thing two weeks ago. It froze for 5 mins without any reason. It was a new thing to me with U1.

both pick up the flt ACMI recording file and prevent BMS of compiling the ACMI after leaving 3d so you get directly to the debrief screen. Compiling to vhs is done by those tools and is up to 100 times faster than the internal BMs compiler.
ie for a 1GB recording (large Multiplayer 2h campaing mission) BMS might take several minutes to compile the vhs and is stuck until the compile is finished. Both tools above will do that job within seconds

Problem solved with a trick. When I go back in 2D just press ALT+ENTER to switch in Windowed mode. Then again ALT+ENTER to go back in Full screen borderless mode.
It works
