Cougar setup
-
I have tried every method on Benchmark Sims to get my Thrustmaster HOTAS Cougar to work on BMS 435, I’ve used Foxy to no avail. all I can do is fly but all controls are still Keyboard.
ANy help would be appreciated. By the way Falcon Allied Force works with out doing anything but BMS is better.
Thanks in Advance.

Are you using Cougar Control Panel? Calibration and button presses all ok?
Don’t use Foxy.
Use BMS Alternative Launcher, use it to program the axis and buttons. Then launch to save the setup. It’s easy -
Yes CCP all works fine, In the process of using alt Launcher
Thanks

I don’t have a profile to program the axis and buttons, does anyone have one?

I just did a fresh install of my Cougar on a new PC running Windows 10.
Here is exactly what I did, in sequence:
Installed Falcon 4.0 from the original CD.
Installed BMS 4.35.
Installed the Cougar driver (Windows Vista x64) in administrative mode. (Right click on installer, run as administrator)
When the driver installer told me to connect the Cougar, I did. It detected. And that was it.
It showed right up in BMS in setup, controllers, joystick.
That was all I needed to do.
There is a lot of control configuration left to do, but that’s all I had to do to install the Cougar and get BMS to see it.
