I am new to BMS so to me everything is great. I like the new color tone!
However, I noticed that some aircraft stayed on the runway without taking off. They were there, but it is like they didn’t exist for the AI or ATC as it gave me permission to take-off. Also when landing AI planes almost ran into me.
I don’t know if this behaviour is normal or it was caused by U3.

Very grateful for this new update to you all! I’ve not had the time to fly proper since it happened (mostly because setting up the campaign and initial planning phase and refragging or editing all suicidal ai flight packages takes long in the beginning) but a short test with TE’s looked great! Its peculiar how a small lighting change shows the incredible potential that lay in the future. In this light, it’s great that you’ve moved to a new forum and webpage, since you might as well be prepared for a surge that is likely to come with next versions.
Anyway, thanks for your work on U3 and looking forwards to flying it this weekend finally!

Yes I did! I still have to try it in a mission, I’ve been practicing mostly using TE.
I will have one friend joining me soon also new to BMS, will adding this line cause a conflict when tryin to connect together?

is it me, or with the new update has Red Air got more aggressive, is able to turn and out manoeuvre charlie shots, even within MAR, are these controlled by Cyberdine?

@arabianjules if you are talking about MP they have been fixed to behave on clients in the same way as in SP or on the host.

Another usually silent user here. The work you developers are doing is simply amazing. You provide us with unparalleled realism, tons of fun and always new gameplay.
The experience is so full and tangible that sometimes one tends to forget about the huge work there is behind the scenes.I really want to thank you all for this great opportunity you give us.
Speaking about U3 and 4.35 in general, what I feel is a dramatic increase in FPS from U1 to U3, the small issues of U1, are getting solved.

Personally the best thing about the update 4.35U3 is its stability.
I Had NO CTD anymore since U3.
The framerate dropped a little, but I still have around 100 FPS.Falcon has been for many years in my life (since Falcon 3) and I still love it more and more.

U3 has been great. I really have never had any issues with CTDs or performance issues. I took a break from BMS (no reason) just life, kids and I moved. Came back to find the new forum and the U3 update. I didn’t even read the change log for U3 to be honest, I just know its going to be better and the fact that it’s the hard work of others you will never see me complain. The fact that the sim works so well, there is never any reason to be in the forum wishing for things to be different.
Thanks to those that make this sim what it is.

Is it just me, or have the new cloud rendering caused a graphical glitch in U3.
I noticed, that runaway textures no longer pierce through clouds.
Now, the clouds started to consume my explosions and aircraft canopy.Honestly its not a gamebreaker like the runaway textures were, but once I started to see the issue I cannot unsee it.

@dicerale transparency rendering is always not perfect. Specially for big objects such as clouds. What is happening here is that the cloud is being considered closer than your canopy, thus your canopy is rendered behind it.
But what? My canopy is clearly in front of the cloud?
Well, that is not really true. Clouds are huge and what you see in rendering is a simplification. In game, they are considered a big sphere and we reduce the radius of the cloud to compute its distance to camera.
So unfortunately, there is no perfect solution for this. Sometimes the clouds will show up in front, sometimes, if you are away enough, it will be behind.
Next version has some improvements on this algorithm, but keep in mind this is never perfect. Unless we start doing volumetric clouds, which AFAIK, no one is working on it.

More than a rant (whatever ), just a wish, not necessarily for Christmas.
It’s 2021 almost ended and 4.35 U3.
Is it may possible that everytime I need to change a theater I have to exit from BMS and start it again, instead of being allowed to change it straight while staying in it still?
Boring.
I seem to remember an useful utility released not so much time ago at this precise purpose, but I don’t recall what its name was or who precisely was the guy who made it (Novum, perhaps? Possible?), nor if it could run even today.
But what about to embed something like in Falcon as a fix in this while and in the future release as well?
Ah, right.
