Alternative Launcher 2.10 and switchs on the throttle (RESOLVED)
-
Hello everyone,
I installed the Alternative Launcher 2.10 to configure my Warthog more easy because I am not ready with Target and the scripts.
On Al 2.10 I hesitate to a problem of assignment of commands with the two -position buttons (switches).
I got expensive on the forum, perhaps badly but I did not find an answer to this problem.
I can assign an order by tilting from bottom to top, May not from top to bottom.
This does not allow a control by switch.
Is there a solution to assign two commands, a high position and a low position?Thank you
Best regards

@Orville - you need to use the Release function in AL KEYMAPPING. For a two position switch with only one DX assignment, find the Mapping (let’s say “Probe Heat On”) and assign that to the part of the switch that actually puts out a DX Press, it should show “DXxx” in the window, Save it. With the switch still in that position click on what you want to assign the other side of the switch for (let’s use “Probe Heat Off” to make life easy). Click the “PRESS” button and it becomes “RELEASE”. Now flip the switch to the position that was dead earlier. in the window your should see “DXxx RELEASE”, save it. You can do the same thing for the 3 position switches, assign a RELEASE for both the UP/Down keys and you will have two Release functions for the center position so when you come out of up or down it will work. Thank you Icer for your answer.
This part is going well and I get the expected resusltat.
"You need to Use the Release Function in Al Keymapping. For a Two Position Switch With Only One Dx Assignment, Find the Mapping (Let’s Say“ Probe Heat On ”) and Assign that to the part of the Switch that actually puts out a dx Press, it should show “dxxx” in the window, save it. "This is the following part that poses a problem
Click on the “Press” button and it becomes “Release”.
Now switch the switch on the position that was dead earlier.
In the window, you should see “DXXX Release”, save it
In fact I do not object this DXXX Release.
I still have in the Awaiting Inputs window that flashes, but “Dxxx Release” is not recognized.I followed your method scrupulously but without success
Is there an activation that I would not have done?Thank you

I resolved what was wrong.
In fact, after having tilted the switch on the position that was dead earlier it must also be rebuilt in the high position.
And there in the window, it appears well “dxxx release”, save itThank you Icer, it is your tutorial ready that it put the chip in my ear.
